چکیده

Abstract In this paper, we explore the impact of electron-phonon ( e-ph ) coupling on Wigner crystallization occurring due to strong electron-electron e-e interactions in a semiconductor-based electron quantum wire. The is represented by Fröhlich interaction potential and correlations are included within dynamic version self-consistent mean-field approximation Hasegawa Shimizu. Numerical results reported for static structure factor pair-correlation function fixed wire width some selected values number density parameter r s . A peak pronounced periodic oscillations indicate formation crystal at critical c We find that inclusion addition usual significantly enhance , width.

Electron-Phonon and Electron-Electron Interactions in Quantum Transport

The objective of this work is t o shed light on electron transport through sub-micron semiconductor structures, where electronic state quantization, electron-electron interactions and electron-phonon interactions are important. We concentrate here on the most developed vertical quantum device, the double barrier resonant tunneling diode. In this work we analyze particle interactions in two stru...

Effect of asymmetric quantum dot rings in electron transport through a quantum wire

The electronic conductance at zero temperature through a quantum wire with side-connected asymmetric quantum ring (as a scatter system) is theoretically studied using the non-interacting Hamiltonian Anderson tunneling method. In this paper we concentrate on the configuration of the quantum dot rings. We show that the asymmetric structure of QD-scatter system strongly influences the amplitude an...

A Wigner equation with quantum electron – phonon interaction

We present a kinetic equation which is obtained after a hierarchy of approximations from the generalized electron–phonon Wigner function. The equation accounts for quantum effects in the electron–phonon interaction which are investigated by numerical experiments. An analysis shows that in contrast to the potential term, which is non local in momentum but local in space, the interaction term is ...

Quasiparticle properties of a coupled quantum-wire electron-phonon system.

We study leading-order many-body effects of longitudinal optical (LO) phonons on electronic properties of one-dimensional quantum wire systems. We calculate the quasiparticle properties of a weakly polar one dimensional electron gas in the presence of both electron-phonon and electron-electron interactions. The leading-order dynamical screening approximation (GW approximation) is used to obtain...
